Since its inception, InnoTrans has successfully held 12 sessions, serving as an important platform for global rail transportation exchange. This year’s event attracted 2,940 exhibitors from 59 countries, filling the entire venue. With 42 exhibition halls and a total area of 200,000 square meters, it marks the largest display space in the event’s history since it began in 1996.

This year marks Huaqi Intelligent’s fourth participation in InnoTrans since 2016, and it achieved a new milestone in scale, with its booth expanding to a record-breaking 100 square meters. After years of growth and development, Huaqi Intelligent attracted numerous domestic and international partners and visitors, all eager to witness its new offerings. Hao Weiya, Party Secretary and Chairman of BII Railway Transportation Technology Holdings Company Limited, led a delegation from the Investment Development Department, Planning and Design Department, Technology Innovation Department, Equipment Group, and other subsidiaries to visit Huaqi’s booth on the first day, providing professional guidance.

During the exhibition, Huaqi Intelligent prominently showcased its integrated technological innovations in rail transit systems and comprehensive monitoring systems. In particular, the independently developed Passenger Information System (PIS), which forms the backbone of its onboard and train-to-ground integrated platforms, stood out. Through precise strategy implementation, these systems have significantly improved operational efficiency and passenger experience, while ensuring the safety and stability of the trains. The continuous iteration and performance enhancement of these products have made them a key solution for both domestic and international urban rail lines. Their notable impact has been widely recognized, as they not only optimize operational and maintenance costs but also set a new benchmark for the intelligent and green development of global public transportation systems.

In addition to the indoor exhibition, Huaqi Intelligent also gained attention outdoors with the official release of China’s first hydrogen-powered smart intercity train, CINOVA H2, at InnoTrans 2024. The train, featuring a cloud-integrated architecture and ultra-thin OLED information displays developed by Huaqi over several years, has achieved major advancements in intelligence and display quality compared to existing intercity train passenger information systems. The new technology was widely praised by the media and industry professionals alike.

On the first day of the exhibition, visitors from Malaysia expressed strong interest in Huaqi’s smart passenger solutions, train-to-ground integrated solutions, micro LED products, and 86-inch LCD platform screen doors. Additionally, partners from India and experts from South Korea engaged in in-depth discussions on Huaqi’s large-scale full-screen technology. Many industry partners specifically visited the exhibition to learn more about Huaqi’s product technology on-site.

InnoTrans is not only a platform for showcasing products and technologies but also a hub for the exchange of ideas and in-depth discussions. At the exhibition, Huaqi Intelligent’s booth, featuring its comprehensive solutions, attracted industry experts from globally renowned vehicle manufacturers such as CRRC, Alstom, Siemens, CAF, Talgo, and Hyundai Rotem. These experts visited for demonstrations and discussions. During the event, experts from Intel and KONI, among other well-known domestic and international companies, also engaged in technical discussions on how to provide efficient and intelligent solutions for the global rail transportation industry. Notably, several intention orders were secured on the very first day of the exhibition. Huaqi Intelligent’s participation in InnoTrans 2024 not only showcased the strength of Chinese smart manufacturing but also marked a key step in expanding its presence in the international market.
